LeeMar's, Erie's oldest bridal shop, has been serving bride's for over 40 years.
Established in the early 1960's LeeMar's derived its name from two seamstresses, Lena and Mary, who started the business at its current location at 805 West 26th Street.

In 1981 Joni Sansone, the current owner, purchased the business and property. Through her leadership LeeMar's had remained the most respected bridal shop in the area. It is now a regular occurrence that former LeeMar's Brides will return with their daughters who can now share that same pleasant shopping experience.

Maintaining the same address for almost half a century, LeeMar's is constantly renovating and improving the store interior. Customers are sometimes surprised when they walk in the front showroom and do not see bridal gowns. That is because LeeMar's is known for its spacious private bridal rooms where all the stock is kept. Bride's can try on gown after gown in complete privacy and still have room to spread out the trains! Wall to wall mirrors for front and back views allow the brides to easily decide what is the right look for them.

Success in the bridal business is elusive. This area has seen about 24 bridal shops open and close in the last few decades. LeeMar's has thrived for so long because they blend together value, style and above all customer service!

Service is the most difficult aspect of the bridal business, and it is what LeeMar's does best. The big store bridal experience could hardly be less personal. Employees are often inexperienced and under tremendous pressure to sell,sell, sell. LeeMar's is quite different. We are certainly not the largest store, by size, in the area. We like it that way, the personal approach is what your wedding should be all about. However, don't be fooled by our store's size.
